Miss Lucid offer their own style of ‘in your face’ rock, driven with the punk/grunge undertones of bands such as The Clash and Nirvana, blending large sonic sound scapes and crafted melodies reminiscent of Placebo and Manic Street Preachers.
This cohesive sound of anthemic and melodic guitars is bolstered with thought provoking, poignant lyricism with an abrasive pop knack.
Since the release of their eponymous debut album on Fat Hippy Records in April 2017 Miss Lucid have gone on to play a number of Scottish festivals and continue to tour their captivating live show all over the UK.
Support comes from Terry McDermott, a Scottish-born American recording artist currently on an acoustic tour of Scotland. He has been part of a number of bands including Driveblind in the UK, Lotus Crush in the U.S. In 2012, he came to prominence as the runner-up of the third season of The Voice USA.
