NOAH NOAH
Edinburgh band NOAH NOAH have only been active since March 2016 but they have been very busy!

Since launching their debut track ‘Lips’ they have toured the UK, played main stage at various Scottish festivals, played live sessions on STV’s ‘Live at 5’ and BBC Radio Scotland’s ‘The Janice Forsyth Show’, sold out their release show for their debut single ‘Champion’, supported Scottish legends Idlewild, Model Aeroplanes, 100 Fables, Start Static, SHVLLOWS, Kirsten Adamson, The Lafontains and Jakil to name but a few, received air play from DJs such as Vic Galloway (BBC Radio Scotland) and Jim Gellatly (Amazing Radio) and have played the infamous King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow.

“Faced with a modern music scene that champions washed out bedroom recordings designed to be enjoyed alongside a cup of cold brew or craft beer, The Head make music that feels honest to them.

Brothers Mike Shaw (bass, vocals) and Jack Shaw (drums) and Jacob Morrell (guitars) have been jamming together since high school, writing and performing original songs inspired by the bands they love: trippy Brits like Stone Roses, Spiritualized, Ride, The Verve and Echo and the Bunnymen, and moody Americans like National, Scott Walker and early R.E.M.

After logging more than 200 nights on the road, The Head returned home to Atlanta to record with producers Tanner Hendon & Wyatt Oates at Madison Studios. The result is Space, their forthcoming 13-song LP that defines The Head’s lush sound and defies lo-fi conventions.”
