Sara Bills and The Has-Beens @ Hootananny
Aug 10 @ 9:30 pm

Described as Alternative Folk pop-Punk, Sara Bills & The Hasbeens can boast the experience of former members of well known Invernessian bands such as Lowtide Revelry, The Galipaygoes, Major Smokey & even the angst riddled punk band Radio4Door, that never really made it further than the legendary Market Bar.

Now on the cusp of embarking on a new adventure, hoping to finally get the chance to play the festival circuit, with some impressive support slots for acts such as Kassidy, Alabama3, The Banana Sessions, Wooden Box & even Albert Lee in the early Hasbeen days, under their belts. The Hasbeens are ready for plans of festivals, parties, sillyness, seriousness and bringing honest songs inspired by growing up in the Highlands to a wider audience.

New Mode
Aug 18 @ 10:45 am – 11:15 am

New mode

New mode are an Indie rock/rock & roll band born from the depths of Elgin in Moray. Frontman Ross Campbell and lead guitarist Aaron Christie started playing small acoustic sets together in August 2016, taking inspiration from bands such as ; The rolling stones, Oasis, The who, Kasabian, The Beatles, The Faces etc. However, their desire for a bigger, thicker sound drove them to seek out more members for the group and now have Mathew Gault on drums and Fraser Wilkinson on bass. The boys look set to bring their passion and energy to every gig they play, and continue for what has been an amazing year and a half for the four piece.
