TBR are a 5 piece hard rock band, based in Stornoway and formed in 2014.
At the moment they are finishing mastering their latest EP, recorded in Laurel Canyon(Los Angeles) at Danny Hutton’s (Three Dog Night) Canyon Hut home studio.
Danny’s son Dash (HIAMS) and Charles Clark (Astrid/Our Lunar Activities) produced the recording, which was then sent to Grammy Award winning producer Simon Gogerly (U2, Paloma Faith) to mix.
The band have been to the US twice playing venues like The Whisky a Go Go, The Viper Room and The Canyon Club to very warm receptions, and have a small tour in Los Angeles, Hollywood, Orange County & San Diego of around five shows lined up for next Spring along with various other opportunities in the US.
The band will also be returning to Bulgaria, Eastern Europe where they headlined the Midalidare main stage alongside Rock giants Dee Snider, Doro and Gotthard, leaving lasting impressions and appearing on National TV as well as featured on prime time radio.
The bands debut EP was released in February last year, with a track synced to Team Rock (Metal Hammer), featured in IQ magazine, The Scotsman, STV news and on BBC radio. Adrenaline PR serviced all PR for the sync and release.
Their endeavours even caught the attention of Rod Smallwood (Iron Maiden) who noted how tight the band was, going as far as to note tracks he particularly liked from the bands first release.
So be sure to check them out in Inverness at Mad Hatters for what is sure to be a great show!

Ashley and The Cosmonauts are a 5 piece Highland based folk rock group fronted by Ashley Mackay.
Previous highlights include appearances at Belladrum Festival and Jocktoberfest amongst other festivals.
The Local Honeys are comprised of Linda Jean Stokley and Montana Hobbs. Stokley (right) from the rolling hills of the Bluegrass, and Hobbs (left) from the foothills of the Appalachian region have developed a sweet sound of the bluegrass kissing the mountains.
They have dedicated themselves to the preservation of old music and the creation of new music. Their songwriting often reflects subject matter that little girls ought not talk about. This element played a strong impact in the production and creation of their debut album, “Little Girls Actin’ Like Men.”
Including both traditional and original songs, “Little Girls” showcases the Honey’s ability to tear into hard driving fiddle tunes, sing the high lonesome sound, and tell a damn good story.
The Honeys are ideal for private events, festivals, square dances, music camps, weddings, and capable of leading various workshops on Kentucky stylings of the fiddle and banjo, vocal techniques and songwriting. The Local Honeys have toured heavily across the Southeast and the U.S. as well as internationally as ambassadors of Appalachian music. If scheduling is cooperative, The Local Honeys are available as a duo, trio, or full string band to add even more energy to their lively show.
Phil’s comedy is a unique blend of energy, improvisation and leaps of imagination that take his audience on a joyride they’ll never forget. Even Phil has no idea what might happen when he unleashes his crazy brand of improvised comedy mayhem. He possesses the rare gift of creating a space where audiences feel like they are kids again, all taking part in a practical joke.
Phil launched his stand-up comedy career with a bang in 1989, quickly garnering a host of awards, nominations and glowing reviews. Since then, the plaudits have never stopped as he conquered first the live stage and then television, with appearances on such shows as Phil Kay Feels, (Ch 4), Next Stop Phil Kay (Ch 4), Edinburgh Nights (BBC1), Montreal Festival of Fun (Ch 5) and plenty more besides.
Phil’s first love, however, remains live stage work and only by watching his live performances will audiences really see him at his very best. Phil Kay is stand-up comedy’s answer to spontaneous human combustion a rare, explosive and always surprising phenomenon that simply cannot be contained in a box or represented on a cathode tube. Phil tours Britain constantly and is a firm favourite at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, where he performs yearly to sell-out crowds and critical acclaim. Over the years he has completed several highly successful tours of Australia, performing at the Adelaide and Melbourne Festivals. Since then, he has travelled the length and breadth of the globe administering his special blend of comedy genius.
