Ded Rabbit are a four piece Alt rock/Indie band consisting of four brothers; Eugene (vocals, rhythm guitar), Fergus (lead guitar), Donal (bass) and Eoin Gaine (drums).

Originally from Yorkshire, the band moved to the Highlands in 1996 and through the isolation and a developing love of music, we started playing music together about ten years ago. After moving to Edinburgh to study, they began taking music more seriously and recently feel we’ve started to find our feet in the studio; working on the last three EP’s in Glasgow with Rocket Science Studios, who have recorded Texas, Belle And Sebastian, Dougie MacLean and many more.

They have received a warm response to our current releases with a good share of air play from Steve Lamacq BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio Scotland, XFM and Sat Bisla’s Passport Approved show has recently been airing ‘Better On The Day’ on various stations worldwide.

“Their music echoes the influences they cite like Hendrix and The Beatles (post-1965) but they are avid gig-goers too, eager to see what is going on nowadays, so they are just as likely to be out watching Peace or Palma Violets as they are at home listening to Abbey Road or Electric Ladyland” – John Paul Mason, Daily Record.

“With hints of The Housemartins and early Arctic Monkeys infused with a twist of funk and original lyrics, they have created a distinctive and highly listenable sound of their own.” – Olaf Furniss& Derick Mackinnon, Artist Of The Week: Scotland On Sunday.

“I know they’re very hard working and are building up a good following in the capital… classic Indie sound” – Vic Galloway, BBC Radio Scotland.
