Electric Mother are a low tuned, groove laden, powerhouse rock band from the Northern Isles of Scotland. Renowned for its traditional and folk music, Orkney has produced numerous musicians and performers of international reputation. In a place where audiences clamour for cover bands and familiar favourites, Electric Mother looked to smash down those barriers and wipe out that complacency. With an attitude as bold and in your face as the wall of sound that greets you at a live show, their high energy and groove creates a frenzy amongst the crowd.

Moth Loves The Flame are a unique band from England. Mixing a blend of styles into their own clear approach, they showcase emotional rock music with an accessibly progressive edge. Formed in the distant memory of a few years ago, the line-up solidified in 2015. The band have since charged ahead with a series of blistering live shows that culminated in a festival appearance at the idiosyncratic ‘Yorfest’ festival, in the historic town of York at the end of Summer 2016.

With band members of varying degrees of sanity, the music is remarkably comprehensible and the listening experience satisfying on immediate impact and with repeated listens. With the track, “The Journey” performing well on Youtube, the band are currently awaiting the release of second track, “Lost Voices (Part 1)” and are burning to spread their wings further afield. Look out for them near you soon!
