“The band have been labelled blues punk and you can kinda see why, with everyone from Motley Crew to Black flag listed as musical influences. They reminded me of The Doors at times with their rough blues sound” (The Moshville Times)

After forming four years ago Rabbit Punch played various venues across Scotland and produced their first EP titled ‘Dust and Bones’. The band has continued to gig through several line up changes and has come full circle again after taking time out with the current line up to write music and start getting it out there.

They’re time in the studio has been very productive and they look forward to releasing another EP in 2018 as well as playing their new material at live venues.

The Motion Poets
The Motion Poets were formed in 2016 by Popular Music students at Edinburgh Napier University. Jonah Stead, Struan Nelson, Euan Lyons and later, Morgan Smith. They began to write music together due to their shared interest and love of alternative rock music. Spending most of summer 2016 writing and recording demos, The Motion Poets began to sculpt to their sound. Playing their first gig in August 2016, the band has since gone on to play gigs frequently in Edinburgh and Glasgow, recently playing gigs with The Sherlocks and Heel. 2017 will be a busy year for The Motion Poets. Their debut single ‘One Too Many’ is out now across all major digital platforms.
