Schilitrum

Schiltrum, namely Gib and Gus, have been quoted as being one of the most strongly committed and diligent hard working Scottish Folk Duo’s of the decade who offer mellifluous performances to their audiences across the globe.

Gibby is the songwriter for the duo and he plays Highland bagpipes, guitar, Scottish smallpipes, electronic bagpipes, bluegrass banjo, bodhran, whistle, harmonica and mandolin. Added to this, they have a vast library of stories, jokes and poems from near and far.

Schiltrum regularly perform at Burns nights, St Patrick’s Day celebrations, St Andrews nights, folk clubs, folk festivals, charity events, clan gatherings, battle commemorations, weddings, social clubs, pubs and annual events. They have performed in USA, Canada, Singapore, Trinidad, Middle East, Greece, Germany, Holland and Ireland.
