Anna Sweeney has had a special 2019. The release of singles “Way Back When” and “Change the Way I Dress”, both championed by BBC Radio Scotland, saw her take her first steps into an exciting new level of momentum. Her sparkling live shows rained hook-laden “proper pop” all year, including at Austin’s SXSW festival and King Tut’s Summer Nights Festival. Anna prides herself on skilful songwriting and attention to detail, and draws influence from pop heavyweights such as HAIM, Taylor Swift and Robyn.
