Vigo Thieves are a five piece Scottish alternative pop/rock band from Glasgow. They combine heart felt lyrics with sing a long choruses, and an epic sound built for the big stage.
Tipped for success by The Sun, Daily Record, The Sunday Mail, BBC Radio 1’s Ally McCrae and XFM’s Jim Gellatly, Vigo Thieves have had a massive success so far after releasing their first 2 EP’s, Heart & Soul (Pts I & 2).
Both EP’s received critical acclaim from a variety of media outlets and have sold over 2500 of physical copies. The band are now working towards the release of a debut album. Latest single ‘This Love’ was made single of the week by XFM’s Jim Gellatly and received air play on BBC Radio1, Absolute Radio and other major national radio stations.
The band made history by becoming the first unsigned band to sell out two consecutive nights in Glasgow’s famous King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut venue
