Dundee’s newest bluegrass group have already carved out a well-deserved place in the Scottish music scene, creating a bit of anarchy at the same time, pushing the boundaries of the bluegrass genre with blistering renditions of old favourites, plus their own cross genre material, featuring some of Scotland’s hottest up and coming contemporary fiddle players.
Wire & Wool are a six piece band who started jamming together recently at Dundee Uni … they’re now a sought-after outfit and have even supported two musical legends, Leo Moran of The Saw Doctors and Anto Thistlewaite of The Waterboys.
