Sunday May 1st will see a special ticketed singer/songwriter concert take place at Hootananny, Inverness featuring Rachel Sermanni, James Mackenzie, Moteh Parrot and Megan Blyth as a fundraiser for Highland Support Refugees.

The Highlands Support Refugees are a collective from the Highlands and Islands of Scotland who are working tirelessly to help refugees. Since September 4th, 2015, they have dispatched almost 2000 boxes of aid to Europe, with more to leave soon – the equivalent of over 500 items a day.

The concert has been put together by musician Moteh Parrot known for being the frontman in Red Kites along with Hootananny music programmer Steve Robertson.

Moteh is also currently walking the 335 mile Lycian Way in Turkey to help raise money for HSR. If you would like to make a donation, go to earth-ways.com and Moteh’s project is on the home page.

All ticket money from this concert goes to Highland Support Refugees.
